Description
D.V.M., is a Colorado native. He graduated from Colorado State University with his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1978. Before moving to Grand Junction, Dr. Melzer practiced large and small animal veterinary medicine in Cottage Grove, OR and Franktown, CO. In 1982, Dr. Melzer and his family moved to the Grand Valley and opened the Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital; they enjoy community involvement and outdoor activities.
D.V.M., has been with Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital since 1992. She graduated from Ohio State University with her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1985 and practiced emergency medicine and marine animal rescue in Sarasota, FL before moving to Grand Junction. Dr. Hugenberg is our Holistic Care specialist and participates in community projects. She also enjoys a variety of outdoor sports.
D.V.M., is a 1977 graduate of Colorado State University. He spent his early career as a U.S. Air Force Veterinarian and in 1984 opened his own practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After many years in the South, Dr. Bukala has returned to Colorado. Upon visiting Grand Junction last winter, he immediately decided he wanted to become a member of the community. Dr. Bukala practices traditional medicine and is certified in veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine.
