Description
Omaha Conservatory of Music provides comprehensive music lessons ( viola lessons, piano lessons, cello lessons and violin lessons) to beginner through college level musicians. Omaha Conservatory of Music’s purpose is to set standards of excellence as high as possible for all of its students, whether or not they are planning to make music their profession. The objective of these lessons is to develop the student’s ability in performing instrumental music in both technical and musical areas, realizing the maximum performance potential for that student. The skills and confidence developed in the students’ instrument playing will result in greater ability to make presentations and solve problems in other disciplines. It is important that we provide a challenging environment that attracts and retains students because of the mutual commitment and interest between the school and the families.
The comprehensive approach of Omaha Conservatory of Music draws from prominent pedagogical schools of thought in each instrument. Instruction is rigorous, and students are expected to maintain a demanding and regular practice schedule. Parents also commit to a level of involvement in their students’ studies, especially when they are young. Instruction will consist of at least one private lesson weekly, and group lessons, recitals, and master classes on a regular basis.
Omaha Conservatory of Music provides a serious, committed, and comprehensive environment where the young string player or pianist can maximize his or her potential.
