- Odessa is a small, agriculturally based community nestled in beautiful semi-arid Eastern Washington. It is approximately 70 miles from Spokane and 45 miles from Moses Lake. Odessa offers a warm, friendly, small-town ambience to its 1,000 residents. Recycling bins are available as well as home pick up for garbage. A "Tiger Pride" community clean up day is sponsored in conjunction with the school district every year. Mail is delivered on rural routes or is picked up at the post office with box delivery. A swimming complex, several baseball and softball fields, a football field, lighted tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball park and horseshoe pits are used seasonally. A park, children's park and visitor's center are operated by the Town of Odessa.
