Oddo Design is a small, web design and Flash design consultancy, based in Austin, Texas that was originally established in 1989, in Houston, Texas. The firm creates web-centric, brand-building experiences that help companies attract and retain customers.
These "experiences" typically involve the design of web sites, microsites, product demos, email campaigns, and rich-media ad banners-- all of which inform and engage target audiences, and "de-commoditize" (i.e., differentiate) products and services.
Beginning in 1995, Oddo Design designed the first public web sites for Houston Lighting & Power, Kent Electronics, and Weingarten Realty, and shortly thereafter, the firm's pioneering work was featured in the book "Shockwave Studio: Designing Multimedia for the Web" (published by O'Reilly). Oddo Design's work has also been featured in Print's Regional Design Annuals, and was recognized for excellence by AIGA, Dallas Society of Visual Communications, Houston Art Director's Club, and others.
