The Cardaropoli home where Oakwood Baptist Church began holding services. Oakwood Baptist Church held its' first service on Father's Day, June 17, 2001 with 32 people attending. Initially, the church met in the home of Mr. & Mrs. John Cardaropoli of Braselton, but soon relocated to Martin Elementary School in Flowery Branch.
