About Us
Nystix.com was founded March, 2002 in Wausau, Wisconsin as a web design/development company with a strong coldfusion database integration focus. Our slogan, "Imagine That!" was a catchphrase for everything a person could think of, and a representation of our positive "can do" attitude towards the endless possibilities which the internet presents.
We quickly realized that many more businesses needed a complete solution, not just the aspects which we were offering, and immediately began to transition into a "business solution" provider (web hosting, web design, web development, domain name registration, marketing and support for all of that), and struggled to set ourselves apart from the many other companies to choose from. During this time, our old slogan, "Imagine That!", appeared in a Kia car commercial, sending us on a furious dash to the drawing board (Which included several notebooks and a few times through the english dictionary {abridged}) to explain what we are, what we do, how we're different... in 5 words or less.
"Eclat" (a-cla), untranslated means brilliance, but translated becomes great brilliance, conspicuous success, great acclamation or applause, and/or enthusiastic approval, all of which we strive for in a website.
