As many of you know, I resigned as NYSIA President in May 2009, announcing my resignation at the monthly meeting. This announcement ended 12 always interesting and exciting years in that position. For a variety of reasons, NYSIA did not have the funding base that it had several years ago, and this made it harder to continue. And after 12 years, I felt that it was time for a personal change.
