The New York State Community Action Association represents fifty-two Community Action Agencies in New York State serving all sixty-two counties. These agencies work to alleviate the conditions of poverty in their communities. Community Action Agencies in New York leverage $.5 billion dollars in federal, state and local resources to accomplish these goals.
The New York State Community Action Association is dedicated to the growth and education of Community Action Agencies in New York State to sustain their efforts in advocating and improving the lives of low-income New Yorkers.
Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.
