- Rose Caudle has been in the retail furniture business since 1984 and specialized in several different lines including appliances and home electronics before finding her niche in the mattress business. After 14 years of selling and managing for one of the areas largest and most successful retail home furnishings stores, Rose, with her husband Jim firmly by her side, decided to venture out on her own. The result was Northwest Mattress Center which opened its doors in the winter of 1999. The store was, and is, the Tri-Cities' first Sealy-Only dealership featuringAmerica's #1 selling mattress brand, Sealy Posturpedic. The response from the community has been tremendous, catapulting Northwest Mattress Center from obscurity to a household name.
