Nuts and Bolts Improv Troupe - Home
Description
Our chosen style, improvisational comedy ("Improv"), allows us to customize each show to the venue and the audience. We encourage audience participation, taking suggestions to determine the theme and subject matter of the individual sketches. Everything you see is 100% improvised. The result is sometimes humorous, sometimes chaotic, but always entertaining.
Utilizing this style, Nuts and Bolts has brought their show to many venues including comedy clubs, bars, high schools, and colleges, and have also been able to perform for corporate events and fund raisers. The versatility and variation of the format keep the shows fresh and new, allowing repeat audience members to be familiar with the format, yet not bored with seeing the same show over and over. Nuts and Bolts will also tailor each show for each audience, keeping language and subject matter appropriate for all ages and situations, since everyone loves to laugh.
Frank Storace - Frank Storace has been on stage since he was 8 years old. 22 years later, he is still doing it. Frank is a founding member of Nuts and Bolts. Frank holds a BS in Theatre from SUNY Brockport. Frank began his Improv training at SUNY New Paltz in 1995. Since then, Frank has performed with other Improv troupes such as Off the Cuff (New Paltz) Dicks and Janes (New Paltz), Comedy Sportz (Buffalo) and Nuts and Bolts. Frank has been in several productions for Geva Theatre, Downstairs Cabaret Theatre, RCP, Opera Theatre of Rochester, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Brockport, Great Lakes Productions and Everyone's Theatre Company (for which he has also directed numerous shows). Frank can also be seen on TV in commercials for The Stereo Shop, Time Warner Cable and Rochester Colonial. Frank spends his free time dreaming of a career in Reality TV and making the world laugh, on sick person at a time.
