North Star Navigational Maps

Description

Excerpted from the website:

I started “North Star Navigational Maps” because in 2001, I had a draw for a WMU that I had never hunted before. I had talked to the Fish & Wildlife officers at the time for the region, and was having trouble locating the boundaries where I could and couldn’t hunt, in a very regulated hunting zone. I gathered all of the maps that I could find for the area and started to mark them up. I couldn’t believe how complicated it was and realized that the consequences of being wrong was my responsibility. I decided that there must be other hunters and outdoorsmen alike that were in the same situation, and maybe I should try to create an atlas that all backcountry users could use and want. So I have packaged information from the key regulatory departments in Alberta and laid them onto the most recent aerial photo images I could find. The layers used in the atlases come directly out of the current Wildlife Act, and we will be maintaining a relationship with the Alberta Government to bring you the most up to date product available. Quality was the main objective and I think you will agree that there is nothing like our product in the market today. This product was designed by an avid outdoorsman for other avid outdoorsmen
