NQACC - North Queensland Area Consultative Committee
Description
The North Queensland Area Consultative Committee is part of the national network of 56 Area Consultative Committees (ACCs) and is a community based, non-profit organisation, funded by the Australian Government under the Department of Transport and Regional Services (DoTaRS). Australian Government - National Network of ACCs
Our role is to facilitate regional development; social, economic and environmental, through the Regional Partnerships Grant Funding Program. The NQACC identifies opportunities, priorities and development strategies for our region in partnership with DoTaRS.
NQACC provides an important link between the Australian Government and rural and metropolitan Australia. We are uniquely placed to respond to issues in our region and provide a vital conduit to government on local, social and economic conditions.
