NoteWorld is one of the largest third-party payment servicer in the nation. NoteWorld recieves, processes and posts payments from customers to a non-interest bearing, secure FDIC insured trust account, disburses funds adhering to written instructions, offers 24/7 account and transaction information, communicates regularly with customers and provides periodic and year end reporting to customers.
History
NoteWorld was founded in 1980 and is based in Tacoma, Washington with additional offices in Bend, Eugene, and Grants Pass, Oregon; Phoenix and Kingman, Arizona. In 2007, NoteWorld Servicing Center was purchased by Linda Remsberg and became a privately owned company.
Seller Financing Servicing
NoteWorld engages in the seller financing industry for both sellers and buyers, as well as realtors and title and escrow officers. Seller financing (also known as an owner carryback, a land contract, or a private party mortgage), is when the seller allows the buyer to purchase property over time. Instead of receiving a lump sum of cash at the time of sale, the seller receives principal and interest payments directly from the buyer.
Personal Account Servicing
NoteWorld also serves consumers who have chosen to use a debt settlement company to help them manage their debt. As an independent third party, NoteWorld is not affiliated with the debt settlement companies. Consumers seperately authorize NoteWorld to receive and hold payments for settlement. The funds are deposited in a NoteWorld non-interest bearing trust account where they are insured by the FDIC up to the maximum amount. Consumers always remain in control of their money placed in trust. Funds are held in the trust acount until NoteWorld receives instructions to disburse money to the creditor.
