NotCookingTonight.com has created a useful tool for all Lehigh Valley area residents and visitors. The idea of this site was born out of pure frustration with not having one concise, all-inclusive list of restaurants in our area. We’re the parents of 2 young boys, and whether by choice or lack of available and acceptable kid-watchers, we don’t get to go out alone very often. A few months ago we were given just such an opportunity. Unknowingly to each other, the two of us spent days trying to figure out where to go. We wanted to try something “new” (to us), but didn’t want to squander our chance to get out on a sub par dining experience. We were both shocked and frustrated that in this age where there are guides of every sort imaginable that there wasn’t one that included all of the Lehigh Valley area’s restaurants. So, for those of you who have seen the movie Robots more than a dozen times like we have, we decided….”See a need, fill a need”. We’ve not only compiled what we hope is the most complete database, but we also added features we would have like to have seen: photos, reviews, coupon offers, searchable fields, etc.
We live in the Lehigh Valley and love our home and neighborhood. We truly hope this is a site you’ll return to often and to patronize the area’s restaurants. Dining can be a fun experience (with or without the kids)!
