On December 24, 2009, Northampton Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call at 0522 for a structure fire at 260 Florence Road. Initial reports given stated two people were inside the house and the fire was rapidly spreading across the living room ceiling. Fire crews arrived on scene four minutes after being dispatch and began a primary search of the structure and suppressing the fire.
