Roy was for 23 years a local radio presenter working for BBC Radio Merseyside in Liverpool, BBC Radio Clwyd in Mold and the Marcher Radio Group in Wrexham and Colwyn Bay.

Roy has transferred his skills in the collation of local information for radio broadcasts to the Internet, now broadcasting via the digital highway with the added advantage of being able to broadcast text, images, video and interactive pages on line.

Roy says:

"I have a life long passion for North Wales and I have lived here since my birth in 1960. North Wales Links is my way of promoting the area, the people, the events and the business we do in North Wales.

"There is a strong tourism element to the site and a search engine that lists over 1300 web sites in or about North Wales. Ideal for researchers, holiday makers and those planning to do business with North Wales".

The web site is presented in a friendly, home spun design. "The last thing I wanted was yet another corporate, bland looking directory. I want this site to appeal to ordinary web users and give it a homely, friendly touch", says Roy.
