North Star Members score in Port Huron-Mackinac Race Eleven boats owned by NSSC members participated in the 2009 Bayview-Pure Michigan Port Huron to Mackinac Race: Absolute, Details, Dog Dayz, Mr. Bill's Wild Ride, Night Hawk, Night Train, Patriot, PDQ Express, Polarity and Snipe. Of these, 4 boats won awards, including 2 first-in-class finishes. 1st-time entry Patriot took a first in the Beneteau 36.7 class. Perenial favorite Mr. Bill's Wild Ride took first in the Level 35 class.
