Nomoz is a new web directory that aims to empower webmasters and site owners by giving them control over their listings, and making the directory accessible to all. The directory was created as a direct response to all the frustrations and accusations of alleged abuse at the Dmoz Directory (Open Directory Project) and the long delays (At times it can take Years for a listing to be approved at Dmoz).
Nomoz charges a small fee for listing websites to off-set the cost of running the directory and to provide for future enhancement. The fee will also help in eliminating SPAM which is the main cause of delays at Dmoz.
