Named for the Comanche Chief, Peta Nocona, our North Central Texas community is located in an area with a rich and colorful history. From Spanish explorers in the early 1500's, to the ranch headquarters known as Jordanville in the 1870's. Our part of North Texas was the major camping and feeding grounds known as Red River Station for the Longhorn cattle headed north on the famous Chisholm Trail.
