Description
The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey is an organization dedicated to fostering and promoting the breeding and ownership of Thoroughbred horses in the State of New Jersey. It is governed by a President and nine trustees who are breeder members of the Association and who are elected by the voting membership.
The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association maintains a close alliance with the New Jersey Racing Commission, the New Jersey Department of Agriculture and the Equine Advisory Board as well as the New Jersey Horse Council.
A breeder member shall be a person who owns an interest in a broodmare or stallion, or a share in a syndicated stallion domiciled in New Jersey and registered with the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey and who files an application for membership with the appropriate dues.
