About Us
The North American Interfraternal Foundation (NIF) is a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to promote and support leadership, educational, and research initiatives that advance the North American college fraternal experience.
The extent of awards and scholarships funded by the NIF is limited only by the voluntary donations the Foundation receives. All gifts and contributions to the Foundation are deductible for income tax purposes for those who file U.S. tax returns and who itemize their deductions.
In 2003, the NIF awarded grants to NASPA to support the Greek Summit, the distribution of the program booklet from the Day of Dialogue, and the Interfraternal Luncheon. In addition, $19,700 in scholarships and fellowships was awarded to 14 students through the Lloyd D. Balfour Fellowship, Jack Anson Fellowships, James H. McLaughlin Scholarship and the Mary Louise Roller Panhellenic Scholarship funds.
