Ryan stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 4-1 win over the NY Applecore. He continues to lead the league and is a prospect for this year’s NHL Draft as he was listed 15th on the NHL Central Scouting Mid Term Rankings for goaltenders. The Providence College recruit will spend one more season with the Monarchs before joining the Friars and teaming up with former Monarchs players Jon Rheault and Marc Bastarache.

Greg paced the EJHL leading Monarchs to victories in both contests over the weekend. On Friday night he scored one of the prettiest goals of the year and added two assists for three points in a 6-3 win over the Walpole Stars. On Sunday he simply was unstoppable and was a factor in 4 of 5 goals in a 5-1 win over the New England Falcons. He put up a goal and three assists for a weekend total of 2-5-7 in two games. Greg is heading to Quinnipiac University next year and will be an exciting college hockey player to watch. He is the son of Jack and Theresa Holt of Mt. Sinai, NY.
