Description
The North Highland College aims to serve all the communities of the north through our campuses in Thurso, Wick, Alness and Dornoch. In addition, we offer flexible outreach training and education opportunities in community learning centres across the area.
Many of our courses reflect the distinctive needs and strengths of the area, including equestrian studies, gamekeeping, veterinary nursing, the acting and performance courses which include a placement with a local touring theatre company, and Scotland’s first golf management degree.
The Environmental Research Institute (ERI), the Decommissioning & Environmental Remediation Centre (DERC) and the UHI Centre for History provide the opportunity to take part in post-graduate research projects.
