Incorporated in the State of North Carolina in 1989, Nelson Hall & Associates, Inc. (NH&A) has developed a reputation as a leader in the resolution of all types of day-to-day challenges that a building owner might face in the difficult task of maintaining a watertight building environment. Our personnel has served clients in forty-seven of the lower forty-eight states, as well as Canada. The combined work experience of our employees represents over 100 years of work directly related to the broad spectrum of roof consulting.
NH&A is a full-service, independent roof consulting firm. Our independence from contractors and manufacturers allows us to remain objective in our work, directing all our energies toward client satisfaction. Types of clients served include nuclear power producers, textile manufacturers, educational institutions, food processors, medical facilities, governmental agencies, including federal, state and local properties, churches and residential projects. Our staff is knowledgeable in all types of roof systems and their components, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, PVC, TPO, EPDM, Metal and residential steep slope roofing.
Our staff includes a Registered Roof Consultant, Staff Consultants/Project Managers, and a Registered Roof Observer. Our employees are actively involved in various functions of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI). Mr. Hall is incoming International President of RCI, while another employee, Barry Hough, serves on the Executive Committee of the Carolinas Chapter of RCI. NH&A employees also maintain an active role in the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Carolinas Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (CRSMCA). Staff members have also served, by invitation, on Consultant Advisory Boards of various large roofing material manufacturers.
