The NFPB is a link between public broadcasting and its audience. NFPB members act as consultants to assist in the formation and growth of volunteer support groups. NFPB assists in developing support at the local level, and through this to develop an informed constituency that will serve both the station and the community. NFPB's Annual Conference is a forum for the exchange of ideas and a clearinghouse of expertise and materials.
