- Teresa Smith is an Ordained United Methodist minister, who obtained her Doctor of Ministry degree in 2006. She has served churches in Virginia for eighteen years. In 2006, she felt God calling her in a new direction. Following the call, she took the summer of 2006 off to do Sabbath Rest as instructed by God. As the fall of 2006 began, she responded to God's call to begin writing a book about her life and the challenges she has faced. She continues to follow the call of God by forming New Pathways and offering the gifts she has received over the years, both spiritual and practical.
