Born with a wry neck, surgery for scoliosis as a child, and suffering with restrictive lung disease at an early age, my story on how I live in spite of death sentences on my life. This is Joanie's personal story. Saddled with severe scoliosis, torticollis, asthma, and restricted lungs with 11% functional breathing capacity her last 20 years, she shares her journey from an early death sentence to emotional and physical health for over fifty blessed years. Her life was a gift from God and an inspiration to others! She passed away, unexpectedly, on 5-15-07 and is remembered and honored through this website by those she loved so well.
