At its peak in June of 2000, netmix reached a global audience of over 1 million unique users per year, and became one of the leading global dance music brands on the internet supported by sponsors including columbia records, arista records and epic records among many others.

in june of 2000, netmix founder tonyzeoli negotiated a purchase of the company by the now defunct Polyverse, llc. in the subsequent dotcom crash, polyverse ceased operations and the orginal netmix web site went dark in January of 2001.
