Our company
Net Languages was set up at the beginning of 1998 by a team of people who had previously been working together at IH Barcelona including Jonathan Dykes - Chief Executive and Scott Thornbury - Contents Director.
Jonathan managed to persuade a number of other people from the International House World Organisation to invest in the new company and that's how it all started.
The first year was spent recruiting the teams of materials writers and computer programmers, designing the courses and developing the materials. Our first courses were launched in May 1999.
