The Beloit Neighborhood Preservation Association came out of an interest of neighbors wanting to meet their neighbors for the purpose of building ‘community’ within and around Beloit’s historic districts. ---
The Beloit NPA is a licensed not-for-profit who’s purpose includes the following: --- (1) The Building of “community” through introducing and bringing neighbors together socially. ---
(2) Promoting the preservation of the historic character and property values of Beloit’s historic districts and immediately surrounding “vintage” neighborhoods. ---
(3) Undertaking educational efforts enhancing appreciation for the architectural and design heritage of Beloit. ---
(4) To engage in projects involving preservation and beautification that enhances the visual appearance and heritage of the historic neighborhoods of Beloit. ---
It is hoped that the Beloit NPA will evolve to where it provides a real, active community of caring neighbors. An association where being a part provides a conduit to making friends, meeting your neighbors and helping to better the vintage neighborhood we share together. The Beloit NPA has its 501(c)3 not-for-profit application in process. Beloit NPA's purpose is for:
- The Building of “community” through introducing and bringing neighbors together socially.
