- Nefarious Muse is a fiction blog looking for dark, violent short stories. However, a good story is a good story, and there are no strict guidelines. Excerpts of larger works are acceptable, as are multiple submissions. Previously published work is also acceptable, so long as you still own the rights to said work and that publishing on Nefarious Muse won’t create conflict with the original publication or website. Fanfiction (stories using other authors’ characters, such as Harry Potter, the Vampire Lestat, Pikachu, etc. ) will not be published.
