The Start...

In April of 1996, a company began to form in the basement of a home. Three University of Missouri-Rolla students had an idea that was simple and real. At the time, the Internet was still foreign to many companies because of the high prices for online services and web pages. Thus, the concept was simple-affordable web sites. Consequently, Net Engineers was formed with the thought in mind that even the smallest businesses have a place on the World Wide Web.

While they were forming web pages for businesses around the community, another idea came to mind. Why not give the entire city a web page? The first virtual city created by Net Engineers was the city of Sullivan, Missouri. The Virtually Sullivan web site allowed local businesses a common place to market their web pages to the community. The concept was successful for Virtually Sullivan is still online today, and it is growing with the addition of more businesses and more people are checking it out for their local needs. Currently, Net Engineers is providing the same service to other surrounding cities.

Somewhere In The Middle...

While visiting businesses and consulting with them on their Internet needs, another need was discovered-quality computer services. Therefore, it was not surprising when Net Engineers began to provide new computer systems, upgrades to old computers, and technical support to area businesses.
