Description
Located right in the heart of the Central Flyway, Mouse River Outfitters offers some of the finest goose and duck hunting opportunities in the country. Every year, thousands of ducks, snow geese, Canada geese and sandhill cranes choose the refuge as a staging point for their southernly migration.
With limits of twenty snows and/or blues per day (no possession limit), and three Canada geese (with six in possession) and two whitefront geese per day (with four in possession), for a week you could conceivably take home 150 geese! But let's not forget about ducks. The ducks and geese often feed together, so we are able to hunt both. This year's limit is 6 ducks a day, with mostly mallards, pintails, and teal in the area. Don't forget about sandhill crane hunting and tundra swan hunting.
The Mouse River team has over 20 years of guiding experience. Our hunts will always maintain a ratio of one guide to every four to eight hunters.
