Northern Dutchess Hospital, a not-for profit, community hospital, governed by a voluntary board of trustees, was incorporated in 1923 in the village of Rhinebeck on the northwestern edge of Dutchess County, in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York State. The hospital serves a region of small towns and villages extending east to the Taconic Parkway and north into the southwestern sections of Columbia County.
Northern Dutchess Hospital is a 68-bed acute care, not-for-profit, community hospital offering a full range of emergency, medical and surgical services, as well as comprehensive outpatient and community-based services.
Serving a population of 153,000 people in its primary and secondary service areas, the Hospital offers healthcare services to residents of northern Dutchess, southern Columbia, and parts of Ulster counties.
