Nature Conservation Council of NSW - NCC Home
Description
The Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) is the peak non-government environment organisation for New South Wales. NCC was established in 1955 and serves as an umbrella organisation for over 120 conservation groups and scientific societies in NSW. In total we provide a voice for 100,000 people who care about the water we drink, the air we breathe and the places we love.
To work with the community, corporate sector and government in urban and regional NSW to achieve positive change for the environment
To meet these aims, the Nature Conservation Council works with member societies and with the wider community. While the Council responds when threats to the environment emerge, we also strives to head off problems before they arise by promoting positive solutions.
