The North American Tang Shou Tao Association (NATSTA) was founded in September of 1990, by Dr. Vincent Black, a practitioner of martial arts since his early teens and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. NATSTA's current president, appointed by Dr. Black in July of 2007, is Ethan Murchie. The purpose of NATSTA is to research, promote, and preserve Traditional Chinese Medicine and Traditional Chinese Martial Arts.
