Description
As you know the Narberth Winter Carnival will this year be 14 years old, not bad for a small committee like ourselves. Narberth Winter Carnival was set-up in 1991 after a visit to the Guy Fawkes carnival in the West Country. After this experience the founder members of Narberth Winter Carnival set about starting our own celebration to bring a bit of warmth to an otherwise cold time of year.
The carnival has gone from strength to strength and has raised thousands for local charities and provided the people of Narberth and indeed the whole of the county with something to look forward to after the summer has ended.
The past few years have seen Narberth being one of three winter carnivals in Pembrokeshire as Tenby and Pembroke Dock have now joined in the celebrations by putting on their own winter carnivals.
