The Napier Kindergarten Association is the employing and managing body for 13 kindergartens in Napier, one in Haumoana (Te Awanga Kindergarten) and one in Wairoa, Hawkes Bay . All of our kindergartens offer quality education for children in the 3 - 5 year age group. It also runs the Parents as First Teachers contract for Hawkes Bay, delivering free parenting education and support to 315 targeted families.
The Napier Kindergarten Association operates like a school, in that there is a Board of Trustees which sets policy and strategic direction. The Board employs a General Manager to run the Association within the policies and
guidelines set by the Board, to manage the staff, and the volunteer local committees, providing training and support to parents/whanau.
