Title

San Diego Hydraulic Repair by National Ordnance Company

Description

National Ordnance Company maintains a facility capable of rebuilding and testing your mobile, industrial and marine components. Your hydraulic components will be expeditiously evaluated and upon your approval, remanufactured using original equipment manufactured (OEM) parts. Units are then bench tested to insure original factory output.

We have designed and custom built our test stand and test cell. The test stand is a varidrive electric motor, ranging 0-1800 rpm, allowing for slow start up to insure auxiliary systems control. The test cell is bi-directional for closed loop pumps. Incorporated into this stand is a 200 gpm pump for supercharging and a cooling tower for temperature control. We also have a second test stand with two hydraulic power sources for valves, cylinders and small circuits. Additional shop equipment include a lapping machine with a 30 inch table and a 320 ton press.

We are a second generation, family owned business. The business was started in the mid-sixties with the main focus on the repair of gunnery systems aboard naval ships. Along with specializing in ordnance repair, the company moved into all phases of hydraulic systems aboard navy vessels including steering systems, anchor windlass systems, deck winches, aircraft elevators, cranes, and many others systems throughout the ships. We moved into the industrial end of hydraulic service and repair with the same expertise and dedication that our reputation was built on with the Navy over these last four decades.
