- Since making toy underwater stations from my dad's beer cans and bed size toy space stations as a kid, I've always tried to find a platform for my imagination to come to life in as many diverse forms as possible. From those first attempts at channeling my imagination I moved on to form an interest in writing, authoring a weekly family newspaper in the fourth grade. In high school, I furthered my interest in writing and moved into the visual arts by writing a couple of award winning stage plays and authoring several poems. It's around that time that my main interest outside of artistic endeavors, the social sciences (mainly politics) began to flourish, and after high school I enrolled in college as a Political Science major. Soon after, I began to pursue a resume in politics and non profit groups, which after some small jobs resulted in me being hired for a high ranking position at a local political research firm. It was during my time working at the firm and studying in college that I became interested in Film production, TV production and Photography, and after extensively learning the craft through hands on experience and study, I ventured into Miami's local Film, TV and Photography scenes. Propelled by a strong work ethic and my love for the three mediums, I've built a long line of experience and knowledge in many diverse positions within each craft, having worked as a Director of Photography, Chief Lighting Technician, Editor, Event Assistant and much more, with different local studios such as Acceon Films, Panoramic Pictures, Univision, Artex and more. All this in a wide variety of settings, from large budgets to small budgets, big crews to small crews, and more. As someone who always looks to reinvent his craft and learn from where he hasn't looked before, I look forward to consistently expanding through new opportunities, new alliances and new projects.
