MyOwnMusic.net was established in honor of independent artists everywhere who strive to gain exposure, share information, utilize resources and increase their odds of success.
MyOwnMusic.net was founded by Colette Washington in 1998 during the production of her self-titled demo CD, in which she composed, arranged, produced, performed, engineered all of the music, lyrics and artwork. Thus came the name MyOwnMusic.
MyOwnMusic.net is based in Oakland, California (USA). Independent music artists everywhere are welcome and encouraged to join...and Tell a Friend.
