Description
The goal of mymouse.org is to facilitate international collaborative research between phenotype screening centers and the mouse mutagenesis community, and to promote interactions among scientists interested in analyzing the biological mechanisms linking genes, function, and phenotypes. The www.mymouse database identifies opportunities for the discovery of gene function with laboratories at your own institution and world wide.
A list of screening laboratories with specific details on the assay performed, and direct email links to the principal investigator to discuss and arrange for the analysis of a new mutant.
The key feature of this website is that it will only contain laboratories actively interested in collaboration, and mutant mice currently available for study. However, participation in the web site does not require anyone to agree to collaborate. That decision is entirely open and left up to the participants.
