My Lehigh Acres began as a Facebook page created by residents, for residents of Lehigh Acres, FL in 2010 with the intentions of healing a severely broken community following the 2007 housing market crisis.
As a result of its success on Facebook, MyLehighAcres.com was created on April 22, 2012. The website had over 8,000 visitors in its first month, including viewers from 14 different countries.
