It is always cheaper to use existing standard solutions to solve the clients problems than to develop new specialized software. This is why MW data is always looking for a solution based on standard Axapta modules if at all feasible.
If you look at the best solutions from a business point of view it is almost always better to adapt procedure to IT-systems than the other way around. However, even an excellent tool box like MBS Axapta has its limitations. Every now and then you miss a specialized tool.
