Founded in 1953, Mountain View College is located in the center of Mindanao in the south Philippines. It lies at the foot of and approximately 10 miles south of scenic Mt. Kitanglad. Covering an area of about 1000 hectares (2500 acres) and at an altitude of 1000 meters (3300 feet) it is cool and pleasant the year around. The climate enables the college to operate a large agriculture industry. The college hosts the largest vegetarian cafeteria in the Philippines. All 2600 students are in residence on the campus. MVC is well known in the Philippines for academic excellence, strong religious values, a work program, and community development.
