It is with deep sadness and grief that we announce the sudden death of Sheikh Doctor Muhammad Abul Khair Zaki Badawi K.B.E.. He passed away this morning, Tuesday 24th January 2006 (24 Dhul Haj 1426 A.H.), at approximately 10.45 am while attending a conference at the Millennium Hotel in London.
All the members of his staff of the Muslim College, London, the Imams and Mosque Council (U.K.) and the Muslim Law (Sharia) Council (U.K.) express their deep sorrow and offer their condolences to the bereaved family of Dr Badawi.
Arrangements for his funeral prayer and burial in London are being finalised and it will be announced as soon as possible.
