Therapists often recommend the Music Together Program for children with special needs as a great way to augment their therapy regimens. Music Together of New Haven County has a relationship with Kidsteps, a Division of SARAH, Inc., to provide tuition for families with special needs who live in Southern and Eastern Connecticut. Spanish translations of the family activities for each semester are available. Please ask your instructor. Also, Music Together of New Haven County is interested in working with the Hispanic community in providing outreach and the Music Together program in Spanish. The program is based on the premise that all children are inherently musical and can achieve basic musical competence, which is defined as keeping the beat and carrying a tune
