MusicPlaces.com was conceived by Greg Fugate of Seattle, Washington. He,(Greg Fugate) is also a music artist and wanted to create a place for other artists on the internet where they could promote their music from for no cost, or very little cost, to the artists and bands.
The site has been helping music artists and bands with promotion, and sales since feb. 2003 and still to this day, tries to keep the artists on the website ( http://www.MusicPlaces.com ) happy!
The site has features like, a personal music player, that you can on other sites, like myspace, tagworld, html sites... and play your music from musicplaces.com. Each artist gets a main page of their own that they can design the look and feel of, much like myspace but more user friendly and easy to do. They also get a blog, photo gallery, page stats, a digital store to sell CD's, song downloads, and other goods from...
The site offers Radio stations that get plaid on the musicplaces myspace page at: http://www.myspace.com/musicplaces , and a few other sites that host internet radio.
The sites owner Greg, is always looking for ways to help promote artists and bands, and giving artists and bands the tools they need to help make it big on the internet!
This site has thousands of independent music artists and bands.
Listeners also get their own page and have more access to the site with signup as they also get their own music player that they can choose and load any songs they want from the site. Many more listener features can be seen on the site.
So all in all, this site is worth a visit whether you are a indie music artist or just like to listen to music! There is something for everyone!!
