With a name like MUSASHI and an international reputation second to none, it is often assumed that Musashi is not an Australian company. Nothing could be further from the truth. Musashi is a wholly Australian owned and Australian run company. Musashi is very proud of its standing amongst the worlds elite athletes but is also very proud to be Australian.
Formed in the mid-to-late eighties, Musashi is still run today by its founder, Tim Horewood. The company has and always will be dedicated to a range of sports supplements to assist the performance of elite athletes.
In the spirit of this, Tim searched for an athlete whose name he could use within the company name. Extensive research led him to the name MUSASHI. Miyamato Musashi was a 17th Century Japanese samurai whose skill was beyond belief, leading him to be considered the best there ever was.
