With the world changing so rapidly, who better to lead you into the future than a company known for being well ahead of its time!?! From the early days of satellite and cable TV was born an idea that would revolutionize the cable industry. Ed Taylor combined his knowledge of these two emerging technologies to help Ted Turner launch what is now know as TBS…cable's first SuperStation. Since that time Taylor Communications has developed a solid reputation for being on the leading edge. Today, that futuristic vision is firmly focused on the Internet. In 2002, Taylor Communications broadend its horizons, and began a new division of the company, Multimedia Advantage, expanding its Internet services, and specializing in Graphic Design, CD Duplication and Video Transfer services.
When real-time, on-demand audio came to the Internet, Taylor Communications was there as one of the first to adopt RealAudio. And just a few short months later, when it became possible to send live audio to listeners around the world via the computer, Taylor broke new ground by "broadcasting" the first live medical conference on World Aids Day in 1994. Listeners from as far away as Japan "tuned in" to hear the latest research as leading medical experts presented their findings at the Harvard World Aids Day Symposium.
As RealAudio moved to RealVideo and RealMedia, Taylor Communications was again poised to help others put the power of the Internet to work. When the GOP was looking for a way to expand the reach of its weekly television show, Taylor Communications was there with the solution. Services have also been provided for WebCasting projects for the Department of Housing and Urban Development and PBS, among others.
